The Trail and Open Space Grant was created to solicit project proposals for activities consistent with goals and objectives of Outcome 4 of the Clean, Safe Creeks and Natural Flood Protection Program. The implementation grants are primarily geared toward supplying funding for the construction and other implementation of projects focused on providing public access to open space and trails primarily along creeks in Santa Clara County. Trail and Open Space Grant cycles were held in 2003, 2005, 2010 and 2011.
