Purpose
Assists the Board with issues pertaining to agricultural water supply and use by providing input on policy alternatives and the implications of those policy alternatives for Board deliberation, when requested by the Board .

Quorum rules
A quorum consists of 50 percent of the authorized membership plus one.

Composition
Membership is comprised of 2 representatives from each Board District, four at-large members (2 from north Santa Clara County and 2 from south Santa Clara County), and representatives from the Loma Prieta Resource Conservation District and the Santa Clara County Farm Bureau.

Criteria for Membership
All members have to be farmers.
