Beau GoldieBeau Goldie, Chief Executive Officer  
Beau Goldie was appointed Chief Executive Officer on June 1, 2009. Mr. Goldie has worked in water resources engineering for 25 years, having joined the district in 1984 as a junior engineer. During his district career, he has worked in water supply planning, groundwater protection, environmental compliance, countywide watershed programs, as Deputy Operations Officer for the Guadalupe/West Valley/Lower Peninsula Watershed Division, and as Chief Operating Officer for Capital Programs Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resources Engineering, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a professional civil engineer. 



Stan YamamotoStan Yamamoto, District Counsel 
Stan Yamamoto began his service as District Counsel on February 1, 2010. Mr. Yamamoto is a graduate of San Jose State University and earned his law degree at the University of Santa Clara School of Law. His experience in the public sector encompasses more than 29 years including having served as the City Attorney for the cities of Redwood City, Riverside, and Modesto California. He was a recipient of a National Urban Fellowship and received recognition as Management Leader of the Year (Public Sector) by the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management , University of California , Riverside.

Michele KingMichele L. King, Clerk of the Board 
Michele King was appointed Clerk of the Board on January 12, 2010. Ms. King has been with the District since 2004. She has worked as Board Scheduler, Board Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant to District Counsel, and most recently served as the Deputy Clerk of the Board. She has over 12 years of experience in providing support to elected officials of special districts. Ms. King is a member of the Northern California Clerk's Association and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

Jim FiedlerJim Fiedler, Chief Operating Officer: Water Utility Enterprise 
James Fiedler is the Chief Operating Officer for the District’s Water Utility Enterprise. He has served in this capacity since 2007. A member of the district staff since 1982 he has over 29 years of leadership and engineering experience in the area of water supply, flood control and watershed stewardship. His management and technical experience includes regional water resources, flood and environmental planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance of water supply and flood protection infrastructure.

Mr. Fiedler is a registered civil engineer in California. He is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, and graduate of Stanford University with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

 Sharon Judkins
Sharon Judkins, Chief Administrative Officer Sharon Judkins is the Chief Administrative Officer at the Santa Clara Valley Water District. As CAO, Ms. Judkins directs the operations of Budget and Financial Planning; Human Resources and Labor Relations; Information Management; Corporate Business Services; including Contract Administration and Public Procurement; Warehouse Services; Fleet Services; and Ethics and Equal Opportunity programs.

Ms. Judkins has more than 25 years of strategic leadership and executive management experience in both the public and private sectors, with emphasis on municipal/public organizational development and performance-based management. She received a Bachelor’s degree in History/Political Science from Virginia Union University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development with a focus on Organizational Development from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

In addition to her national experience, Ms. Judkins served two years as an international advisor on legislative financial reform to the National Treasury of the Republic of South Africa. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Forum for Black Professional Administrators (NFBPA) and has been a member since 1993.

Marc KlemencicMarc J. Klemencic, Chief Operating Officer: Watershed Operations  
Marc Klemencic received a BSCE degree in 1983 from San Jose State University and is a registered civil engineer in the State of California. He has more than 26 years of experience with the Santa Clara Valley Water District that includes the areas of: management and supervision; flood protection, environmental and water utility planning and design; ordinance administration and enforcement; land use review; flood protection; and water utility maintenance and operations.

Mr. Klemencic is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Public Works Association, Floodplain Management Association, National Flood and Storm Management Association, and Chi Epsilon.
