I pursued a seat on the Santa Clara Valley Water District Board of Directors to fundamentally change the way the District operates and treats taxpayers. Budget deficits, backrooms deals, and conflicts of interest must stop.
I have nearly three decades of experience balancing public budgets and a strong reputation for being a fiscal watchdog and for being an open and honest public servant. Since embarking on my public service career nearly 30 years ago, I have tackled some very challenging situations head on and have been a voice of reason on local and regional issues. I understand the need for collaborative problem solving and common sense leadership.
