Legislation in 2009 replaced the former board structure of five elected board members and two at-large appointed members. With the new structure, all seven board members will be elected from new districts shown in this map (click to enlarge). Four of the seven seats are up for election in November 2010.

Board members serve overlapping four-year terms and elect a new chair and vice chair annually. As required by state law, the district must redraw its boundaries to reflect 2010 Census results. This process must be completed by the end of 2011.
